for steel water constructions
COROPUR
stands for
moisture-hardening, single component coating systems
that can be applied by brushing, rolling or spraying
procedures. Alongside the simplicity of application
and their high tolerance to moisture,
COROPURcoatings
feature a combination of great surface strength with
high elasticity, and so ensure longterm corrosion
protection of steel component parts.
COROPUR is normally applied at least
as a three-layer coating
(DFT 150-250
μm
per layer).
COROPUR Tar, COROPUR
Tar 21, COROPUR TF 21
and COROPUR Non Abrasiv
are mainly used for the corrosion protection of
steel water engineering constructions according to
the requirements of
DIN EN ISO 129-44-5
(corrosivity
category
Im1, Im2 and Im3
for direct contact with freshwater, seawater and
soil) in combination with the appropriate primers.
COROPUR Tar/Tar 21
has a successful track record for use in accordance
to
DIN EN ISO 12944-5for the long-term corrosion
protection of steel components classified in the
corrosivity categories Im 1 (Freshwater);
Im2
(Seawater or
brackish
water) and
Im 3 (Soil).
COROPUR Non Abrasiv
has been specially developed for applications in
steel water construction in accordance with
DIN EN ISO 12944-5.
Especially suited for use in the corrosivity
categories:
Im 1
(Freshwater);
Im2
(Seawater or
brackish
water) and
Im 3 (Soil).
The German Federal Institute for Water Construction
(BAW) has
classified this corrosion protection system as
suitable for "Use under stronger mechanical loads".
We recommend the light-stable
COROPUR Non Abrasiv (LS)
version for outdoor applications.
